Deemah Ramadan is an innovator, a leader, an agent for change. She is CEO and co-founder of DBG Construction, a general contractor and industry leader in commercial construction. Ramadan’s work is recognized not only in Oklahoma City, but across the state and around the region.

As an Academic, Deemah earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Oklahoma State University and received an MBA from the University of Oklahoma. Driven to further her education, she completed Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Business Entrepreneurship program and the Tuck Business School Executive program at Dartmouth. Her list of credentials continues as she holds a professional license in interior design and certification in construction management.

With a start in construction tenant renovations for Cingular Wireless, Deemah displayed an impeccable attention to detail. Later, she sharpened her skills as a business leader in a key role developing an Oklahoma-based home builder. At the time Ramadan was hired, she was employee #30.

Now, as a leading home builder in the state, that builder employs a team of more than 100. Ramadan’s drive to do something more impelled her to begin her own entrepreneurial project.

With fortitude and acumen, Deemah stood in the Oklahoma Secretary of State’s office with her sister at her side as D. Design, Inc. was founded in 2004.

Her parent’s insistence that, “Where’s there’s a will, there’s a way,” continued to motivate Deemah, and only three years later, with one business partner, $8000 in savings, 16 credit cards and she co-founded DBG Construction in 2007.

Today, DBG Construction is a multi-million dollar company with offices in Oklahoma City and Dallas.

Construction services with DBG include ground-up construction, major remodels, and tenant improvements. With multiple construction delivery methods: design/build, construction management, or negotiated bid, DBG has completed jobs with budgets ranging from $1 million to $20 million.

Building projects include nationally recognized entities, among them are Chase Bank, Verizon, Chick-fil-A and Zaxby’s.

Deemah’s talent to learn and integrate corporate culture and branding into each project is on display with distinct local projects in central Oklahoma.

DBG has worked to coordinate, design and develop properties for State at Norman Apartments, Dunlap Codding Law Firm and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Projects to launch new offices for Edmond Eye Care and Identical Dental Labs have expanded the footprint of DBG into the medical community in the Oklahoma City Metro area.

DBG has become a respected brand and authority in their field, both in the quality of their work and in the reputation of their people.

Deemah is about doing good where she is. She can be found on the Oklahoma Committee for 2020 Women Board and is a member of the Oklahoma Governor’s Minority Business Council, active in Oklahoma City Junior League, Rotary Club 29, and serves on the Board with Heartline.

As a mentor to startup entrepreneurs through StitchCrew and OKEMP.employs Deemah lives her personal mantra, “Set up for success,” as she partners with the DBG team, the business community and her clients building success in business and in life.
